I’m Arooj—a lawyer-turned-consultant with a heart for storytelling, a mind for strategy, and a mission to centre equity in everything I do.
I built a legal career from the ground up, training at one of the top ten law firms in the world and working on landmark deals like Europe’s largest IPO.
Then came a two life-altering diagnoses. Guillan-Barre Syndrome and Lupus. A journey through paralysis. Over 300 physiotherapy sessions to relearn how to walk.
Every chapter shaped the way I see the world. I learnt how easily people can be left out of systems not built with them in mind—and how storytelling can catalyse more inclusive, human-centred systems.
That’s why I built a consultancy that is rooted in purpose. Driven by empathy. Committed to measurable change.
In 2024, I was honored to be named a Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 for my work. I’m now focused on working with individuals, companies, and nonprofits to bring bold ideas to life and design systems that are inclusive by design—not by afterthought.
